Sidesaddle & Co. Press Kit - An Overview
What?
This press kit was created for a Bluegrass band from the San Francisco Bay area. The press kit is a three page, 8.5" X 11", full color spread, with up to date information about the band, contact and booking information, as wells as a testimonial/review column.
How?
I used Illustrator CS to create the flourish in the bottom left hand corner that is used on every page. I used PhotoShop CS to clean up the photos, and InDesign CS to layout the entire spread using text styles for the header, sub heads, and paragraphs.

IMPACT Physical Activity CD-ROM - An Overview
What?
This two sided flyer was created for the University of Southern California IMPACT Physical Activity CD-ROM game. It was passed out at many Helath Education conferences around the country and attracted many potential clients with the cute characters and colorful palette.
How?
I used Illustrator CS to create the characters used on both sides. I used PhotoShop CS to clean up the photos, and InDesign CS to layout the entire spread using text styles for the header, sub heads, and paragraphs.

Health Literate Person Poster - An Overview
What?
The Health Literate Person Poster (17" X 22") illustrates four examples of children applying knowledge and skills to enhance health and quickly convey the four essential characteristics of health literacy with this engaging poster. This poster helps to reinforce the goals of the National Health Education Standards. Colorful and engaging, this poster effectively illustrates healthy behavior among young students.
How?
The intial illustrated characters were all hand drawn and airbrushed using PhotoShop CS. I used Illustrator CS to layout the poster and add the extra graphic images for punch.

Skin Health - An Overview
What?
These 8.5" X 11", saddle stitiched, full-color newletters were designed for the New York Academy of Medicine to be placed in doctors offices and passed out in miidle and high schools across the country. They were developed to help young persons with questions about skin health, preventitive measures, and identifying questionable moles.
How?
I used Illustrator CS to design and color the characters, and InDesign CS to layout the entire spreads using text styles for the header, sub heads, and paragraphs.

Youth Voices/Youth Choices Flyer - An Overview
What?
The Youth Voices/Youth Choices flyer was designed for the Oregon Partnership that has created a new secondary school curriculum advocating youth awareness of methanphetamine use. This flyer has been distributed at health education conferences around the country.
How?
I used Illustrator CS to design and color the characters and masthead. I used InDesign CS to layout the entire spread using text styles for the header, sub heads, and paragraphs.

What?
I created this poster for the Health Education Assessmnet Project. It shows the National Health Education Standards icons and the National Health Content Area icons to develope a better understanding and awareness for teachers and trainer who teacher health education.
How?
I used PhotoShop CS to clean up the photos and Illustrator CS to layout the poster design.

Adult Flu Prevention Posters - An Overview
What?
These two posters use compelling images and simple text to teach teens and adults important flu-prevention strategies. They are used in doctors' offices, clinic waiting rooms, classrooms, public bathrooms, and other places where teens or adults gather.
How?
I used PhotoShop CS to design the icky illustrations and clean up the photos. I used Illustrator CS to layout the posters and add the text.

Ammonia Safety Posters - An Overview
What?
These colorful posters were designed for the Ammonia Safety and Training Institute (ASTI) and a are a necessary resource during Training and as Prevention Prompts displayed throughout the work area. The 6 posters in this series contain many of the important prevention, mitigation and preparedness measures needed to reduce hazards in helping insure safety in the workplace for employees and the community. The poster titles are LANCE, SIMPLE, Evacuate or Shelter in Place?, PMP & RR, SAL Monia, and the Characteristics of Ammonia

These two colorful posters (Before CalSave and CalSave to the Rescue - 17" X 22") were designed for the CalSave.com website which sells and distributes school materials world wide. These poster are on display at national education conventions around the country.

Children’s Flu Prevention Pamphlets - An Overview
What?
These two read-aloud pamphlets teach the ABCs of cough etiquette and hand hygiene to children in grades K 3. Written in Dr. Seuss like rhyme with playful illustrations, they're perfect for doctors' offices, clinic waiting rooms, early education classrooms, bathrooms, and other places where young children and their families gather.
How?
I used Illustrator CS to design and create the characters and InDesign CS to layout the entire spread using text styles for the header, sub heads, and paragraphs.

CERT Flyer - An Overview
What?
This flyer was designed for Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) advertising The CERT Start Kit: Building and Maintaining Your Team binder which helps communities organize their own CERT teams. On the back of the flyer is an elegantly designed order form to be used with a fax machine.
How?
